The world is searching for prevention and cures against COVID-19. Billions are being spent on pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and vaccines in regards to research and active therapy. I hope that we don’t ignore some simple and cost-effective options like “heat”.
I am glad to see some others bringing up the possibility that heat therapies like sauna could benefit patients experiencing COVID 19. We know that many viruses, especially those with a lipid envelope can be quickly killed with the right combination of heat and humidity. We also know that low humidity (drier) conditions slow the clearance of mucous in our respiratory tract.
The article does not offer cold hard data as the research has not been done yet, but we can at least hope that someone comes around and looks at possible benefits for therapies like sauna in treating COVID.
As we move forward with our Immune Prepper Course One, we will keep our eyes further research surrounding heat therapy’s efficacy against COVID and other viruses.
